Our under 9s kicked off their season in Mount Evelyn on friday night (Which was their round 1).
A super excited team of kids had a great time. Well done to the Under 9s coaching crew getting that up and going! The 11s, 13as and 15s headed to the big ground at Gembrook/ Cockatoo. The 11s continued their great form with a strong win and then 8 players backed up with a 2nd game in the 13s. Our 13s showed good development with some of the 11s showing why they have such a strong team. With another new player and a couple back in the side Im looking forward to seeing how we go next week. Gembrook got a quick start on our under 15s and although sometimes out scoring in quarters they werent able to peg back the lead. Again, super gutsy footy and exciting to watch.
The under 9s have a home game on friday night so come down and support them. The other teams have another away game in Mt Evelyn this week.
